Mrs. Wyleen Wooten, age 87, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012; at the Oak Park Nursing Home, Lee County, and Auburn, Ala. Mrs. Wooten was a native of Coffee County, GA. She was born, May 12, 1924; she is the daughter of the late William Cleveland Ragsdale and Clara Lula Knight; also, she is the widow of the late Albert Cecil Wooten, Sr. A member of the Pridgen Baptist Church in Pridgen, Ga.. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Pridgen Baptist church with Burial in the Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include: Son, Al Wooten and wife, Julie, Snellville, GA; Daughter, Kim Yates and husband, Frank, of Opelika, Ala. Seven Grandchildren: Jennifer Musick (Michael), Erin Sutula (Dan), Haley Vega (Julian), Micah Wooten (Shannon), Jared Wooten, Gavin Yates (Amanda), Patrick Yates, and 11 Great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wooten was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wooten and son, Don Wooten. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Pridgen Baptist church with Rev. Rodney Courson officiating. Burial in the Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
