Barry E. Taber, 66, of Westport, died Friday February 3, 2012 at home. He was the former husband of Janet (Moore) Palmer and the son of the late Caroline E. (Sonntag) Taber and Elliot H. Taber, Jr. and his wife Colleen of Westport.
Born in Fall River, Mr. Taber was a resident of Westport for most of his life. He had worked as a self-employed wall builder.
Survivors include: 3 sons; Eric P. Taber of E.Freetown, Adam S. Taber and Robert A. Taber both of Somerset; 2 sisters: Judith Taber and Diana Taber both of Westport; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Taber was the father of the late Jason Taber and the brother of the late Edward G. Taber.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 11:00A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home.
Visitation 9-11:00 A.M. prior to service.
Interment will be at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
