Debra E. Varadi, 58, died on Feb.2, 2012 in Beverly Hospital. She was the fiancée of Tom Moran of Merrimack, NH.
Born in Salem on Dec. 31, 1953, she was the daughter of Louis E. Varadi and the late Marie (Lenahan) Varadi. She graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in 1971 and went on to earn her associates degree in Culinary Arts from NSCC. Debra loved learning and with her quest for knowledge she attended many schools such as, Butera Art School and Wentworth Institute in Boston, Montserrat College in Beverly and she was most recently enrolled at North Shore Community College where she studied criminal justice and was a member of Sigma Alpha Pi Leadership Honor Society. Debra was an award winning member of the Danvers Garden Club, a member of the Moose Lodge in Peabody, an avid dancer and loved the beach.

Kim Turner of TX, Mary Louise Varadi of NH, Leslie Whitaker and her husband Dick of NC, Elizabeth Varadi of TX and Louis Varadi, Jr. and his wife Trina of Bolton, several nieces and nephews, Matthew McGinnity and his wife Sue of Danvers, Paul McGinnity and his fiancée Jill Hodgson of Beverly, Robert McGinnity of Beverly, Sean, Kathleen and Harrison Gorman of TX, Trevor and Austin Ramberg of NH and Louie and Katie Varadi of Bolton and two great nephews, Evan and Justin McGinnity of Danvers
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Tues., Feb. 7, 2012 in St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Vst. Hrs are Mon. 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Danvers People-to-People Food Pantry, P.O. Box 2076, Danvers, MA, 01923.
