Methuen, Ma. – Richard C. Ramsden 68, died Thursday February 2, 2012 at the family residence.
Mr. Ramsden was born in Lawrence September 15, 1943 son of John W. Ramsden, Jr. and Irene E. (Foulds) Ramsden. Richard was a Methuen resident since 1965 and received his education at North Andover High School graduating from the class of “1961”.
He was vice president of operations with the AGFA Corporation for many years.
Richard enjoyed many things in life but more importantly being with his family, traveling, he was the number one Nascar fan, working in his yard, and many years ago loved Hot Rod racing and visiting the White Mountains.
Richard is survived by his wife and best friend Lyn J. (Levesque) Ramsden, children Darren and wife Veronica Ramsden, Ronald and wife Patricia Ramsden, Daughter Michelle and her husband Allen Becotte, 2 step-children Daniel and wife Heather Santiago, and Renee Levesque, one brother Douglas and wife Sheila Ramsden, and one sister JoAnne and her husband George Peters, 14 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Mr. Ramsden was predeceased by his late wife Barbara L. (Flockerzie) Ramsden.
Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
Friends will be warmly received on Monday from 3-7 PM at the funeral home.
