LAWRENCE – Carl M. Lozowski, 47 of Lawrence, MA, died unexpectedly Monday January 30, 2012 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, he is the son of Edmund B. Lozowski of Lawrence and of the late Mildred E. (Edwards) Lozowski. For more than 25 years Carl was a union carpenter with the Boston local # 218. Strong in his faith, Carl was a devoted husband, father, son and brother and enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He devoted many hours volunteering at the Knights of Columbus, Andover Council # 1078. Carl was a frequent contributor to the Dennis and Callahan sports radio show in Boston; he also enjoyed model trains and attending different shows with his children.
Besides his father, Carl is survived by his wife of 25 years Mary Grace (Dattore) Lozowski of Lawrence, MA; his children Christine E., Edward J. and Karl C. Lozowski all of Lawrence, MA. Two brothers and one sister Paul A. and his wife Doris of Methuen, MA, John C. and his wife Kathleen of Andover, MA and Janet L. Reynolds and her husband Kevin of Salem, NH.
Carl is also survived by his aunt Lois Samples of Georgia, as well as several cousins also from the Georgia and New England area.
Nieces and nephews Melanie, Meghan, Sean and Ryan Lozowski; John, Christopher, Katlyn, and Michael Pascal.
ARRANGEMENTS; Family and friends may call Monday from 3:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tueasday at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home with a burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
