Flanagan, Geraldine M. (White) “Gerry” of Quincy, died February 1, 2012 surrounded by her family, she was 92. The beloved wife of the late James Flanagan. Loving mother of Susan Nickerson and her late husband Peter of Squantum, Sharon Kelly and her husband Tom of Hingham. Dear sister of Natalie Graham of Weymouth and Brant Rock. She is also pre-deceased by her twin sister Lorraine White, Stephanie Durkin and Patricia Shine. Adoring Mimi of Derek, Ryan and Ashley Nickerson and Thomas Kelly. Loving great grandmother of Braden Peter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gerry was a lifelong Quincy resident. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club of Squantum and was active in the women’s golf league in Rockland. She also enjoyed many wonderful summers on Cape Cod and winters in West Palm Beach, Florida. The center of her life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her time spent with her family. They are all grateful for the blessings she brought into their lives. Gerry will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 1 - 4 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 prior to the Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy.
Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
