Mr. Johnathan Alton Jowers, 70, of Ambrose, Georgia finished his course at 9:15pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
Mr. Jowers fought a good fight, kept the faith and has been delivered from this wicked world to live eternal life in the presence of the Lord.
He was a member of Anchor Fellowship Church in Douglas, Georgia, but has now ran to his reward where he is encompassed about by an innumerable company of angels. An unashamed soldier of the Kingdom of God is now enjoying the truth of faith to faith that was revealed by the power of God unto his salvation.
Mr. Jowers was the only son of the late Frank Walter Jowers and Beatrice Pridgen Jowers
of Ambrose, Ga.
He is survived by his wife,
Kathy West Jowers of Ambrose, Georgia.;
one son, Jason Jowers of Douglas, Georgia;
one daughter,
Becky Jowers Logue,(Chane)of Douglas, Georgia and
one step son, Jonathan Hallman of Ambrose, Georgia..
Mr. Jowers’ grandchildren are
Kimberly CleeAnn & Kaylee Rebecca Corbitt of Douglas, Ga.;
Jimmy Shane Logue of Douglas, Georgia;
Nicholas Johnathan & Gabriel Kaylynn Jowers of Savannah, Georgia.
and Gracie Leigh Jowers of Nicholls, Georgia.
An honorary military victory service will be held
grave side at the Douglas city cemetery in Douglas,
Georgia at ll am on Friday, February 2, 2012
