Richard B. Ward, 68, of Clarksville, TN died Tuesday January 31, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at
Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the hour of the service.
Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West with full military honors.
Richard was born August 10, 1943 in Fresno, CA son of Dennis L. Ward Sr. and E. Louise Ross Ward. He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a CW4 retired aviation helicopter pilot with the U.S. Army and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross..
Survivors include his mother, E. Louise Ward, Clovis, CA; wife, Ullrike Hahn Ward; two daughters, Mary W. Terry (Brad), Millbrook, AL and Kristy I. Dalton (Sean), Clarksville, TN; a brother, Dennis L. Ward, Jr, (Leta), Clovis, CA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
