Brother Howard A. Roberts, went to be with his heavenly Father Tuesday January 31,2012. A native of Bowling Green,he was retired from J.C. Penny after 30 + years of service, was a part time police officer for West Buchel and former Chief of St. Regis Police Dept. Bro. Roberts also served as Pastor of Riverside Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Doraetha "Dorie". His three children; Deborah Roberts ,Howard T.Roberts and wife Nancy and Donald Roberts. Six grandchildren, Twelve great-grandchildren and One great-great grand daughter.Also one brother; Ray Ramsey and two sisters; Carolyn Beckham and Ruby Fryman. His funeral service will be Friday 3pm at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation 9 am till 3pm funeral time. In Lieu of flowers expressions may be made to; the Billy Graham Crusade, Hosparus of Louisville or the St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital.
