Obituary

Alma Virginia (Loring) Trask, of Hampton, NH, formerly of Andover, Massachusetts, died on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.

She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on May 13, 1927 the daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Dusault) Loring. Alma was employed for 20 years with Western Electric in North Andover and later at family owned Andover House of Carpets. She also worked at The Greenery in Hampton as a Design Display Person.

She was a member of St. Augustine Church until 1979 when after moving to Hampton she became a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. Alma loved animals, gardening around her home, needlework, sewing, cooking and decorating her home for the holidays. She is the widow of Richard J. Trask.

Her survivors include her son, John R. Trask of Haverhill, daughter, Donna M. Anderson and her husband Peter of Windham, three grandchildren Jason Trask of Salisbury, Janelle and her husband Jason Caron of Dracut, and Jacob Trask of Haverhill, three great grandchildren Michael Trask, Ethan Trask, and Hunter Caron, her sister Phyliss Bowen and her husband Richard of Plaistow, her brother Robert Loring of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Alma was predeceased by her son, Richard Trask Jr., grandson Joseph Trask, sister Ruth Shaw, and brother Paul Loring.

Many relatives and friends attended a funeral mass on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 1:15 at St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover. At the request of the family there were no calling hours. Burial was held in St. Augustine Cemetery in Andover. Funeral Arrangements were under the direction of Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover.
