Priscilla Lopes, 90, of Acushnet died Tuesday January 31, 2012 peacefully at home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte (Azevedo) Tavares.
Priscilla was well loved.
She is survived by four sisters, Esther Barboza and her husband John of New Bedford, Joyce Barros of Brockton, Linda Monteiro and her husband Steve of New Bedford, and Lorraine DaLomba and her husband Joseph of Boston; many nieces and nephews; and her LifeStream family.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wareham. Visitation Friday from 9-10 AM prior to the service.
