Obituary

LaFlamme, Pearl S. of Waltham, January 30, 2012. She was born in Concord, N.H. on February 24, 1922 and she graduated from Concord High School, Class of 1938. She worked as the executive secretary to the New Hampshire State Fire Marshall for many years. After moving to MA in 1965, she worked at Braun North America – The Gillette Company. Pearl was kind and sweet to all that knew her with her wonderful sense of humor and a sharp wit. She will be dearly missed. Beloved wife of the late Savior Joseph LaFlamme. She is survived by her devoted daughter Cheryl Shushan and her fiancé Paul Crimlisk and Brian K. LaFlamme and his partner Ann M. Taylor. Loving grandmother of Andrea Poulin and her husband Dr. Stephen Poulin, David Shushan and his wife Jamie, Dr. Alex Shushan and his wife Tracey and Remy Thompson – LaFlamme. Cherished great grandmother of Joshua, Jennifer, Scott, Kate and Kevin. Also survived by many loving grand nieces and grand nephews. Loving sister of the late Lillian Sanasarian, Anita Arslanian, Souren Sanders, Andrew Sanders and Samuel Sanders. Beloved aunt of Pauline Sanasarian, Helen Sookikian and her husband Vahram, Richard Sanasarian and his wife Ann, Ronald Arslanian and his wife Leslie and the late James Arslanian. She is also survived by many other loving cousins and friends. Funeral service at Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church, 38 Elton Avenue, Watertown on Friday February 3 at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown on Thursday from 4 – 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Memorial gifts may be made to Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church or MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130. Interment at Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
