Barbara Jean (Settle) Wendelgast, 77, passed away Sunday January 29, 2012, at Jewish Hospital Downtown.
She was born in Louisville, KY to Byron & Louise Settle, who preceded her in death.
Barbara was a Pre-School Teacher at Valley Station Baptist Church and a longtime member,currently a member of Highview Baptist Church.
She had been a Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years. She also was a member of the Eastern Star Valley Chapter.
Survivors include her Husband of 47 years, Harvey B. Wendelgast; a Daughter: Vicki Roll; 3 Grandchildren: David Storms, Ronnie Hornback, & Amanda Mendez; 5 Great Grandchildren: Isabel, Megan, Kara, Jenny, & Greg; Bro-In-Law: Dwight Dell; 2 Nephews: Anthony & Adam Dell; a Niece: Lisa Houchins; 4 Great Nephews: Brandon Houchins, David, Alexander & Matthew Dell; 2 Great Nieces: Kelsey Blevins and Sarah Houchins.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 2 – 8 PM expressions of sympathy to her church
