Obituary

WEBSTER - Bessie E. (Kuszewski) Tremblay, 94, died Saturday, January 28, 2012 in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, surrounded by her family. Her husband of 30 years, Edmund J. Tremblay, Sr., died in 1976.

She leaves a daughter, Eleanor M. Tremblay, with whom she lived; 2 sons, Edmund J. Tremblay, Jr. and his wife Ann of Tolland, CT and Joseph J. Tremblay and his wife Laura of Blue Knob, PA; 5 grandchildren, Monica Fisher, Lauren Jordan, Sarah Tremblay, and Adam and Aaron Tremblay; 6 great grandchildren, Gavin, Bridget, Charlotte, Eric, Ashley and Jennifer; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 7 sisters and 4 brothers.

She was born in Webster, a daughter of George and Jadwiga “Hattie” (Wawrzyniak) Kuszewski and was a lifelong resident.

Mrs. Tremblay was a homemaker and a part-time bookkeeper for her late husband’s business, Tremblay Woodworking.

She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica and a member of its Holy Rosary Sodality, Sacred Heart Society and Saint Anne Society.

The funeral will be held Monday, January 30, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A calling period will be from 8:30 to 9:30 AM Monday, January 30, in the funeral home. Instead of flowers, donations in her name may be made to either Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, or to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, 17 East Main Street, both Webster, MA 01570.
