Obituary

WORCESTER___Isabel A. (Litwaitis) Malesky, 89, of 203 Massasoit Rd., died Saturday March 27 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. Her husband of 58 years, Vincent A. Malesky died in 1991.

She leaves two sons, Paul J. Malesky of Oxford and John A. Malesky of Auburn; a daughter, Mary A. Malesky of Worcester; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A son, Vincent “Allen” Malesky, Jr., of Millbury died in 1991. A sister, Josephine C. Brote of Worcester died in 1996. She was born in Waterbury, Conn., daughter of Anthony and Anna (Zemaitis) Litwaitis and has lived here since 1932.

Mrs. Malesky was a member of St. Casimir’s Church. She was also a member of the Charles F. Minney Post VFW Auxiliary, Millbury, was a member of the former Southworks Post VFW Auxiliary and from 1974 – 75 was the Massachusetts State VFW Auxiliary President. She was a graduate of Commerce High School.

The funeral will be held on Thursday April 1 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir’s Church. 41 Providence St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday March 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Casimir’s Church Building Fund, 41 Providence St., Worcester, 01604.
