Mr. Richard H. Osborne, 83, of 10 Corrigan St., Gorham, NH passed away on Friday January 27, 2012 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center in Berlin. He was born in Loudon, NH on August 13, 1928 the son of Richard C. and Ethel (Hodgdon) Osborne and grew up in Pittsfield, NH where he graduated from high school. Richard served in the US Army where he began driving trucks and continued to drive trucks until his retirement at age 77. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, wood working and reading.
Members of the family include his wife Bonnie (Kilton) Osborne of Gorham, NH; a brother Paul E. Osborne and wife Louise of Oberlin, OH; stepchildren Amy Sturiale of IN, Allison Nestor of PA, Audrey Munn of NH, Russell N. Drew of NH, Jennifer R. Costello and husband Scott of Eielson AFB, AK, and Erica M. Drew and significant other Kevin Steady of Gorham, NH; many grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held in the spring at the Meadowview Cemetery in Amherst, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH on Wednesday February 1, 2012 from 1-3 PM.
