Robert L. Warren, 75 of Derry, NH, formerly of E. Hampstead, NH, died Wednesday January 25, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Care Center in Derry, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Warren was born October 9, 1936 in Lynn, MA, and was a son of the late Alton and Ruth (Gowell) Warren. He was raised and educated in the Lynn area, and lived for many years in East Hampstead. Mr. Warren worked for over 40 years as a long haul truck driver, and drove for several different trucking companies.
He was predeceased by his wife of 32 years, Diane L. (Greenleaf) Warren in 2005, and by his sister Arlene Allen.
Members of the family include a son Robert and his wife Sally of Pembroke, ME., 4 stepdaughters, Sherry Wood of Derry, NH, Stacy Grant & Don Pappalardo, of Londonderry, NH, Kathleen Donahue & her husband Peter of Atkinson, NH, and Rhonda Collins of Bradenton, FL. He leaves 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. a brother James Warren and wife Dottie of Derry, NH, sister Eleanor Harrington of Winthrop, ME.
In accordance with the wishes of the deceased, there were no services held. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry are assisting the family with arrangements.
