Alton Kirkland, age 88, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Mr. Kirkland is preceded in death by his wife Marcell Rowell Kirkland and son Wallace Kirkland.
Mr. Kirkland is survived by. Two daughters, Patricia (Tommy) Mancil, of Nicholls, GA., and Marie Kirkland, of Dublin, GA.; Four grandchildren, Connie (Dane) Boatright, of Alma, GA., Tammy (Mark) Carver, of Wray, GA., Amanda (Brian) Blizzard, of Dublin, GA., and Shane Harper, of Nicholls, GA.; Three great grandchildren, Allen Thompson, of Nicholls, GA., Rachel Rowell, of Dublin, GA., and Drew Carver, of Wray, GA.
Funeral Service were held on Saturday, January 28 at 2 :00 p.m. at Saginaw Baptist Church with Rev. L.G. Aldridge, Rev. John Carver, and Rev. Donnie Kirkland officiating. Interment followed at Saginaw Baptist Church Cemetery.
