Augusta, GA---Mrs. Frances Catherine Sidener “Cat” Allred, 83, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at University Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Reverend Phil Winsett officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Allred was a member of Martinez Baptist Church since 1974, a beloved member of the Faith Sunday School Class and the Harrisburg Coffee Club. She was a faithful and caring prayer warrior.
Family members include her son, C. W. “Scooter” Price, his wife Gayle, whom she loved as a daughter, brothers, Charles Sidener (Elvinia), John Sidener (Rae), sisters, Betty Bush and Jimmie Wheatley. She was loved as Aunt Cat by many nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews, as well as the children of her friends.
She was loved by many, young and old and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Sidener, Joe Price, Steve Wheatley, Dennis Sidener, Lee Sidener, Bobby Williams, Andrew Lines, and Phillip Price.
