Luis H. Fajardo passed away on January 23, 2012. He was 71 years old.
Born in Bogota, Columbia, Luis was a citizen of the United States for 40 years and a resident of Malden for the past 30 years. He worked for most of his life as an automotive mechanic.
Luis was the devoted husband of Maria (Contreras) Fajardo. He was the beloved father of William Fajardo and his wife Laure of Tewksbury, Walter Fajardo of Boca Raton, FL and Sandra Bavilea and her husband Eli of Brookline. Luis was the dear brother of Magda Simons of Derry, NH. He was the cherished grandfather of Ashley Wallister and Nashmiah Bavilea.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday, January 26th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 38 Oakes Street, Everett at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Wednesday, January 25th from 5-8 p.m. Services will conclude at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
