Obituary

Adeline M. Finnerty (Brooks) age 93 of Canton passed away January 24th at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton. Born in Framingham, she graduated from Mission High School Class of 1935. She worked as a Clerk for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Welfare. She has lived in Canton for the last 20 years and previously lived in Stoughton. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at Lost Brook Golf Club. Beloved wife of the late Daniel G. Mother of Mary M. McNulty of Stoughton & the late Joseph D. McNulty, Noreen M. McAlister & Sylvia A. Clark. Also survived by her son in law Ernest W. McAlister of Quincy, 5 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday morning at 9:30. Followed by a funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton at 10:30. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Hellenic Nursing & Rehabilitation Center 601 Sherman St. Canton, MA 02021
