Lowell, Ma. – Robert R. Wolfendale died January 19, 2012 at the family residence.
Born in Lawrence Bob was the son of the late Frank E. and Stella (Krystyniak) Wolfendale. A graduate of Lawrence High School Bob was an avid sportsman who enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed freshwater and saltwater fishing. A former employee of Malden Mills Robert for the past 25 years had worked with the Raytheon, Co. before retiring in 2010.
He served his country in the United States Army prior to being honorably discharged.
He was formerly married to Carol A. (Smith) and is survived by children; Kevin Wolfendale, Karalyn and her husband Vincent Manfrate, Christine Wolfendale four brothers; Frank, Thomas, Brian and Bruce Wolfendale three grandchildren Vincent and Joseph Manfrate and Sydny Roussel and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his son Paul Wolfendale and brothers Edward and Kevin Wolfendale.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 12 noon in Saint Monicas Church in Methuen.
Friends will be warmly received on Thursday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen
