Obituary

Frederick E. Woodrow, 90, of Derry, NH, died on Saturday, January 21, 2012, in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Derry, NH. He was born on January 28, 1921 in London, England, a son of the late Henry and Julietta (Buckley) Woodrow. Mr. Woodrow served in the Royal Air Force during WWII as a pilot. He was shot down over Germany and was taken a Prisoner of War. He held dual citizenship in New Zealand and the United States. Frederick served in the 132 countries of the world as an Economist for United Nations..

He is survived by his partner of over 15 years, Natalie Pogson of Derry, NH, one son, Christopher Woodrow and his wife Terri of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, two grandsons, Ian and Evan, Natalie's children Susan and her husband Harry, Bruce and his wife Linda, Natalie's grandchildren, Jillian, Allison, Kristin and Harry III, one sister, Irene Corrigan of Warminster, PA, many nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date by the family. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
