Charlton – Clarence J. Audette, 74, of 56 Worcester Rd. died on Friday March 26 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge.
Mr. Audette leaves his wife of 13 years Irene (Ducharme) Audette of Charlton; a son Raymond Audette of Leicester; a daughter Elaine Allen of Madisonville, TN; 4 step-sons Richard Audette of Webster, Mark Audette of Worcester, David Audette of Delaware and Robert Audette of Charlton; two step daughters Michelle Cenedella of Webster and Joanne Fancy of Gilbert, AZ; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Audette is predeceased by his brothers and sisters. He was born in Worcester son of Levi and Marie (Paquette) Audette.
Mr. Audette is a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a machinist for many years at Wright Machine Co. and previously worked at L. Farber Co.
He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church and the League of the Sacred Heart. Mr. Audette enjoyed fishing and traveling.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday March 30 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.RoyFuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 9 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday March 29 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
