Charles A. Anti, of Weymouth formerly of Plymouth, died on January 21st at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth at the age of 89. He is survived by his long-time companion German Coronado of Weymouth and his children Phillip Anti of VT; Bernadette Monks of Plymouth, his twin sons Tim & Tom Anti both of Plymouth and Charles “Chuck” Anti Jr. of Manomet. He also leaves his sister Doris Moskoff of Plymouth, his brother David Anti of Chicago, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Charles was born in Kingston, son of the late Alfredo and Ida (Botieri) Anti, and has lived in Weymouth for 15 years after living most of his life in Plymouth. He was a tailor and retail store owner and was a member of the Lions Club. He enjoyed playing tennis, golf, walking, raising cockier spaniels and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
A visiting hour will be held on Thursday, January 26th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 10 to 11 AM followed by a prayer service at 11 AM. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Alzheimers Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
