YEBBA, Alfred A. 80, of Dedham, died peacefully Jan. 21, 2012 at home surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle against prostate cancer. Alfred was born Feb. 6, 1931 in Boston and was the son of the late Nicola and Maria (Maglio) Yebba. Raised in Boston, he was a long time resident of Dedham. Alfred was a US Army Veteran who served between 1952-1954 in the Korean War. Always self-employed, Alfred helped his brothers run 2 business', first, Tufo and Yebba, a construction company and later New England Imports, Inc., a food distribution company. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially with his sons, his daughter and his most recent blessings, his 3 granddaughters. He is survived by his loving wife Dolores (Catanese) Yebba of 41 years, a daughter Stephanie Falter and her husband Eric of Attleboro, his 2 devoted and beloved sons, Alfred and Nicholas both of Dedham. He will be missed by his 3 granddaughters, Samantha, Alexandra and Alyssa. Alfred leaves behind his sister Rita Traniello of Dedham and his best friend his brother Joseph of Boston.
