Mitro Lekgjika 71, of Natick died Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Boston Medical Center.
He was the beloved husband of Leta (Dudi) Lekgjika.
A Natick resident for 6 years he was born in Albania the son of the late Jani and Aleksandra (Pali) Lekgjika.
Mr. Lekgjika was an accountant for the government of Albania for many years.
He was extremely devoted and generous to his family and friends both in Albania and the United States, known as “the glue” to keep the family together.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Aleksandra Apostoli and her husband Sotiraq of Natick, Marjeta Jaho and her husband Adrian of Natick, two sons Jani Lekgjika and Eduart Lekgjika both of Albania, four sisters in Albania, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Albanian Orthodox Church of the Annunciation,37 Washington Street Natick.
Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery.
Visiting hours in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common are Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
