Fall River – Albert Jacob, 83, husband of the late Bertha (Ross) Jacob, of Pleasant Street, Fall River, died Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Crawford Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Fall River the son of the late Joseph and Rhea (Sylvia) Jacob, he was a lifelong resident of Fall River. Prior to his retirement in 1990, he was a security officer with National Services in Newport, RI.
Mr. Jacob was a United States Army veteran of WWII. He was a communicant of St. Anthony of the Desert Church in Fall River.
Survivors are 2 sons: Albert Jacob, Jr. of Wilson, NC and David Ross Jacob of Jefferson City, TN; 7 daughters: Barbara Lambert of Westport, Carol Combs of Fall River, Janet Mosher of Westport, Nancy Ponte of Westport, Alane Babington of Norton, Linda Bourgeois of Westport and Brenda L. Jacob of Tiverton; 1 sister: Doris Cadime of Westport; 28 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Margaret Boudria and the grandfather of the late Ross Dufault.
