Evans, GA – Mrs. Elizabeth D. North , 91, wife of the late Thomas Aubrey North, Sr., went home to be with the her Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2012.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel at 2:00 PM with Dr. Rodney Coe officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Don North (Ginny) of Evans, GA, Tommy North (Joy) of Augusta, GA; one daughter, Gail O’Tyson (Jack) of Evans, GA; six grandchildren, Tina McKenney (Wayne) of Evans, GA, Mark O’Tyson (Cathi) of Marietta, GA, Tim North (Allyson) of Augusta, GA, Kelly Garnto (Joel) of Evans, GA, Heather Clark (Vernon) of Appling, GA, Chris North (Stephanie) of Augusta, GA; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Mrs. North was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. She loved roses and was member of the National Rose Society. Elizabeth was known as Granny by her grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight at Platt’s Belair Road from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
