Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, January 19, 2012, Mr. Tommy Tucker, 63.
Mr. Tucker was a native of Marion, VA but lived in the Augusta area for many years. He graduated from Butler High School in 1967; he then attended South GA College and Augusta College. Mr. Tucker worked for Streeter Printing, Georgia Rail Road Bank, SRP Federal Credit Union, Bankers First and Regions Bank. He was the Vice President of SRP and Bankers First. Mr. Tucker became a Corporate Trainer for the Circle K Corporation. He was a Member of Green Meadows Golf Club and was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan.
Family members include sons: Morgan Tucker (Brie) of Evans and Lance Tucker of Grovetown, brothers: Jim Tucker (Stephanie) of Charleston, SC, Jerry Tucker (Ina) of Augusta; nieces and nephews James S. Tucker III, Courtney T. Bath, Michael Tucker and Stacey T. Brown; fiancé: Pam McPeake and granddogs: Georgia, Winston, Diesel and Piper. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his parents James S. Tucker, Sr. and Cora R. Tucker.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
