Obituary

SALEM- Helen L. Tyburska, 92, formerly of Salem, died Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at the Danvers Twin Oaks Nursing Home, Danvers, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary A. (Jarosz) Tyburski.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by GTE Sylvania for 48 years and was a secretary in the Engineering Department at the Boston Street, Salem, plant and later in Danvers.

A lifelong resident of the city until moving to the nursing home, she was a parishioner of the St. John The Baptist Church in Salem.

Miss Tyburska is survived by six cousins, Linda M. Parker, Walter D. Jaworski, John W. Jaworski, Jr., all of Beverly, James T. Jaworski of Groveland, Leonard M. Jaworski of Haverhill and Ann Thibeault of So. Hamilton. She was the sister of the late Isabelle R. Tyburska and cousin of the late Vanda Kohn.

A Memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 11 am at the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. For those who desire, donations may be made in her memory to the St. John The Baptist Church, 28 St. Peter St., Salem, MA 01970.
