Billy E. Karns, 82, Clarksville, TN died Thursday January 19, 2012 at Alive Hospice St Thomas Hospital, Nashville, TN
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 P.M. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Jones officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 5 P.M. and Sunday from noon until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Karns was born January 4, 1930 in Montgomery County son of the late Clyde Karns and Augalee Suiter Karns. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Binkley Karns, two brothers, Bernice and Carl Karns; granddaughter, Tara Shock; and step-son, David Wayne Richmond.
He was a salesman for 40 years for Colonial Bread Company and was a US Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Mincks Karns, son, Mark B. Karns; daughter, Connie Shock (Raymond); step-son, Mark Richmond (Teresa); step-daughter, Debbie Hamaker (Dennis); sisters, Edna and Kathryn Karns; grandchildren, Trey Shock, Cara Graham (Joe), Ryan Hamaker, Chrissy Ricardo, Heather Wooten (Jason), David Richmond and Shelby Richmond; and great-grandchildren, Adalynn Ricardo, Bailey Hamaker, and Wyatt Wooten.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Black, Delma Atkins, Wilton McKinney, Tanner Wyatt, Raymond Shock, and Brandon Buhler. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Baggett and Paul Lanham.
