Mr. Michael J. Amico, age 60, a Medford resident for fifty years, passed away early Thursday morning at the Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston following a lengthy illness. Born in Winthrop he was the son of Frances (Coniglio) of Medford and the late Michael Amico. He was the beloved husband of Mary C. (Luongo) Amico.
Mr. Amico worked for thirty-five years as a supervisor in the property management department of Liberty Mutual of Boston. He was devoted to his family and loved being with his children and grandchildren. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Michael´s memory to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
In addition to his beloved wife and mother, Mr. Amico is survived by his daughter Michelle Kenney and her husband James of Foxboro, and his son Michael J. Amico Jr. of Stoneham. He is also survived by three loving grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jennifer, and David Kenney. He is further survived by his sister Angela Bucci of Medford and is preceded in death by a sister Elaine Amico and brothers Joseph and Charles Amico.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church 512 High St. Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford
