Obituary

Leonard J. Fiorello, a life-long Medford resident died peacefully Sunday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was 52.

Born and raised in Medford, Leonard graduated from Medford public schools. He also participated in a sheltered workshop at the Kelliher Center in Arlington. For many years he was part of the Medford Kiwanas Friday Night Club for adults with special needs. Throughout his life Leonard looked forward to going up north and spending summers at his family cottage on Cobbetts Pond in Windham, New Hampshire.


The cherished son of Rose (Bonaccorso) Fiorello and the late Edward Fiorello, he leaves his siblings: Christine Fiorello, Pauline Fiorello and her husband John Healion, Jr. all of Medford and the late Kathleen Fiorello. A loving uncle to Ariana Fiorello, Christian, Patricia and Domenic Healion, he is also survived by many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved family at the Pine Terrace Association of Cobbetts Pond.

Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, January 18th from 4 thru 8 PM and again on Thursday morning at 9 followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Leonard’s name to the Eliot Community Human Services, Kelliher Center 41 Foster St. Arlington, MA 02474-6843.
