Anne Marie Hensley Johnsey, age 81, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Verona, MS. Funeral services are planned for Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 11 AM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 AM until service time with Bro. Gerald Shook officiating. Her grandsons, Michael Johnsey, Austin Johnsey, Daniel Johnsey, and David Johnsey will serve as her pallbearers.
Anne was born in Paducah, KY to the late Velon and Ruth Bennett Hensley and worked as an office manager in several dental and medical offices throughout her career. She especially enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of her flowers.
Anne is survived by two sons, Don Johnsey and his wife, Linda, of Plano, TX and Bob Johnsey of Water Valley, MS; five grandchildren, Michael (Carly) Johnsey, Austin Johnsey, Daniel Johnsey, David Johnsey, and Wendy (Clayton) Jones; and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Johnsey, and a sister, Patty Avent.
