Obituary

Jeanne M. Laroche, 93, of Getchell St., Woonsocket, died Monday at The Holiday in Manville. She was the wife of the late Oscar Laroche.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Cayer) Gamache. She remained a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Laroche was employed at the former Social Department Store, Najarians Department Store, and at the U.S. Rubber Plant.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Agatha’s Parish.
She is survived by a son Raymond H. Laroche, and his wife Gail, of Chepachet, and a step-grandson Michael Beaudette of West Warwick. She was the sister of Normand Gamache, Roland Gamache, Claire Boisvert, and Gertrude Suffolletto, all of Woonsocket. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Her funeral will be Thursday at 9:00 am from the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am St. Agatha Church, Joffre Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 6-8 pm.
