Dayvien J. Fernandes, age 1, of New Bedford died January 12, 2012 unexpectedly at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence.
He was a beautiful little boy who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him and his mother was his whole world.
Survivors include his parents, Alicia Rebelo and Christopher Fernandes; a brother, Jayden Fernandes; his paternal grandparents, Suzanne Fernandes and John Fernandes; his paternal great-grandmother, Ellen Morris; his maternal grandparents, Brenda Vazquez and Tony Rebelo; his maternal great-grandmothers, Ruby Vasquez and Maria Rebelo; his maternal great-great-grandmother, Matilde Ortiz; and many aunts and uncles.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 18th at 10 AM in St. James Church. Burial will follow in St. John's cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday, January 17th from 6-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
