WORCESTER-Beverly M. (Hammond) Vrusho, 84, of Worcester, died Friday, January 13th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 57 years, George E. Vrusho died in 2008. She leaves her son, Paul E. Vrusho of New Hampshire; her granddaughter Jessica Vrusho; her sister in law Theresa August of Worcester; her daughter in law, Patricia MacDonald of NH; and her nephew James August. Two brothers, Howard E. Hammond, Jr. and SFC Robert E. Hammond predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Howard E. Hammond, Sr. and Clare M. (Walsh) Howard; and was a graduate of the former Commerce High School. Mrs. Vrusho was a founding member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish.
Her funeral is Wednesday, January 18th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with her Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, January 17th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
