Jessie M. (Stuart) Fraser, 94, of Franklin and Falmouth died January 13 in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Paul W. Fraser who died in 1992.
Born in Boston, January 30, 1917, the daughter of the late George and Jessie (Dunbar) Stuart, Mrs. Fraser was raised in Jamaica Plain and had lived in Franklin since 1970. Mrs. Fraser also had lived for many years in East Falmouth during the summer.
She was a graduate of St.Thomas Aquinas High School in Jamaica Plain.
A homemaker, Mrs. Fraser’s family meant the world to her.
She is survived by her children, Paul S. Fraser of N. Easton, Kevin G. Fraser of Little Compton, RI and Carol A. Rollins of Duxbury. She was the mother of the late Marie V. Fraser.
She was the sister of the late George Stuart.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher, Gregory and Darren Fraser, Mark and Amy Rollins and Ian, Julia, Ainsley and Caroline Fraser and her great grandchildren, Gregory and Andrew and Brian Fraser and Olivia Rollins.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 19 in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 8:30-9:45 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St. in Franklin.
