Beonne (Boronda) Liebig, formerly of Academy Point, Mystic, died Monday, January 9, 2012, at Mystic Healthcare. She was 100 years old.
She was born May 23, 1911, in New Monterey, CA the daughter of Lester D. and Roby E. (Drew) Boronda.
She was an accomplished sculptress, art educator and lecturer.
She is survived by her daughter, Kirsten Nelson and granddaughter, Andrea Nelson, both of Florida.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring. The place and time will be announced in the New London Day and on this website.
