Laconia-----Alfred J. LaChance, 82, of 175 Blueberry Lane, died at the Laconia Rehabilitation Center-Genesis Center, on January 7, 2012.
Mr. LaChance was born April 26, 1929 in Dover, the son of Joseph and Margaret (Lozin) LaChance. Mr. LaChance lived in Meredith and Belmont before moving to Laconia.
Mr. LaChance is survived by his stepchildren and step grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. LaChance was predeceased by his wife, Carol (Shaw) LaChance, in March 2006.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 6:00-7:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH.
Following the calling hour, a Funeral Service will be held at 7:00PM also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 1:00pm in the family lot in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, NH.
