Obituary

Mr. Clarence L. "Larry" Valliere, 96, of Peabody formerly of Lawrence for 51 years passed away on Friday, January 6th, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, Massachusetts surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on August 9, 1915 in Lawrence to the late Alfred and Georgianna (LeClerc) Valliere. Mr. Valliere was educate in the local schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He served during WWII in the United States Navy. He was an attendant of Sacred Heart Church in Lawrence. Mr. Valliere worked in Quality Control at General Electric for 40 years.

According to his family he enjoyed gardening and puttering around the house. He especially enjoyed discussing Politics.

His beloved wife of 62 years Mrs. Muriel E. (Cyr) Valliere

His daughter June Valliere and her husband Marc Cecere of Wellsley, MA

His son Edward J. Valliere and his wife Eileen A. (Flannery) Valliere of Hampstead, NH

His six grandchildren: Caley Whitney, Nicholas Valliere, Mariel Valliere, Aimee Valliere, Zachary Cecere, and Catherine Cecere.

His Great Grandchild: Breanne Korzeb

As well as several nieces and nephews.

Father of the late Thomas P. Valliere who passed away in 1984.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 10th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Saint Marys/Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Lawrence and his burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery also in Lawrence, MA.
