Arthur Arruda, age 57 of Fall River, passed away Jan. 4, 2012. Born in Santa Barbara, Santo Antonio, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of Maria de Lourdes (Batista) Arruda & the late Leonardo Arruda. Prior to retiring, Mr. Arruda worked as a Mason for Manuel Correia, and he was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
Mr. Arruda is survived by his siblings: Joseph Arruda, Maria Adriano, Gorette Aguiar, Carlos “Charlie” Arruda, & Susan Levesque all of Fall River; and several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on MONDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours SUNDAY 5-8 P.M.
