Obituary

Marlon F. Timberlake “Tim”, age 81, of Tiverton RI, passed away peacefully January 4, 2012. Tim was the beloved husband of Emilia P. Timberlake for 56 years. He is also survived by his six children; Tom Timberlake (wife Jayne), Eileen Hurley (husband Michael), Joanne M. Kubera, Nancy A. Hilton (husband James), Carol J. Frazier and Paula J. Cory (husband Robert); 8 grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Fall River, he was predeceased by his parents Eugene Vincent and Mary Theresa Timberlake, brothers Charles, Eugene, Henry and Donald and sisters Katherine Farkas, Anna Simpson and Thelma Wilkinson. Tim attended Diman Vocational High School where he enjoyed playing football. He also enjoyed ice skating, softball and baseball. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots Fan.

Tim retired from the U.S. Navy after servings 20 years. He served during the Korean War, received many medals and taught at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay. Upon retiring he founded Timberlake Service Center in Tiverton. He was a member of The Church of the Holy Ghost, a Lifetime member Knights of Columbus 4753 and the VFW Post 5392 in Tiverton.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 9AM from the Boyko Memorial Funeral Home, 709 Broadway, Fall River MA. Visitation, morning of the funeral from 8-9AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM, in the Church of the Holy Ghost, 311 Hooper Street, Tiverton RI. Interment will be in Notre-Dame Cemetery, Fall River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tim’s memory to Disabled American Veterans P. O.
