Methuen, Ma. – Margaret S. (Janigian) Ovoian, 90, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at the Holy Family Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Marsis Ovoian.
Mrs. Ovoian was born in Lawrence on July 24, 1921 and was the daughter of Hadji and Agnes (Dinjian) Janigian. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Formerly, Mrs. Ovoian had been employed at Clayton’s in Lawrence.
She was a member of St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church of Merrimack Valley in North Andover.
She is survived by a son, Michael J. Ovoian, of Methuen, a niece, Joanne M. Nahil, of Methuen, 2 nephews, Joseph C. Nahil and his wife Ann Marie of East Dennis, MA and John G. Nahil of Kennebunk, ME, a grandnephew, Christopher Nahil and his wife Julie of Hingham, MA and a grandniece, Kaitlin McClung, of Peyton, CO.
At the request of the family, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
