Jeffrey M. Walker Sr., 63, died unexpectedly at this home in Waterford on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012.
He was born June 7, 1948, the son of Mabel and David Walker. He grew up on Groton Long Point and was a graduate of Robert E. Fitch High School, class of 1966. He was the former owner of Walker Heating and Plumbing, as well as the Bootlegger Restaurant in the City of Groton. Most recently he worked for Girard Toyota in New London. Jeffrey was an avid fisherman and golfer, loving father, family member and friend. He will be missed.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey M. Walker Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his brother, Lance Walker of Groton Long Point; and long time friend, Peggy Russ of Quaker Hill.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by two older brothers, David and Bruce Walker.
