The Honorable Joseph E. Fox, Jr.
90, of Plymouth, MA, formerly of Jamesport, NY, January 3, 2012. Husband of the late Patricia (McMahon) Fox for 59 years, father of Kathleen A. Fox of Whitman, MA and the late Terrence J. Fox. He also leaves his daughter in law Maree Fox of Ballston Lake, NY and 2 grandchildren, Christine Fox and James Fox.
Joseph was born in Brooklyn, NY the son of Joseph and Anna (Rush) Fox. He graduated from St. John’s Law School. Joseph was a respected attorney for 52 years and a member of the Judiciary from 1977 until his retirement in 2004. He was an avid reader with a love of history. Joseph served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Parish 803 State Road Manomet (Plymouth) MA on Saturday January 7, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. N. Plymouth on Friday January 6 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Plymouth, MA
