Vietze, William J. "Billy" of Jamaica Plain for more than 50 years. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late William C. & Irene (McGrath) Vietze. Died suddenly on December 30, he was 73 years young. Billy is survived by his wife Maureen Allen - Vietze of Jamaica Plain and the late Paula (Grimshaw) Vietze. Father of William P. Vietze of Jamaica Plain, Michael Vietze of NH, Lisa Allan, Lori Mathi and her husband Paul all of Bridgewater, Leslie Thomas and her husband Edward of Foxboro and the late Mary Vietze. Brother of the late Ruth Kenning, Barbara Horrigan, his twin sister Teresa Grogan and Patricia Cronin. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and many great friends including Judy Bailey. Funeral from the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) JAMAICA PLAIN on Wednesday January 4 at 9:15 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale at 10 AM. Billy was retired after 20 years from the BRA in Boston and was a US Navy Veteran.
