Carolyn Margaret Ouellette of Hingham, entered peacefully into eternal rest early Friday morning December 30th, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous and determined battle with breast cancer at the age of 35.
Born on July 16, 1976 in Weymouth; beloved daughter of Peter Milewski of Duxbury and the late Margaret (Biviano) Milewski, Carolyn lived for a short time in Plymouth before moving to Duxbury where she was raised and lived most of her life until she moved to Braintree for 5 years then moving to Hingham 5 years ago.
Carolyn was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Kingston with the Class of 1995 and furthered her education graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications from Regis College with the Class of 1999.
Her central focus in life was her family. Devoted and dedicated to her husband and daughters, she had a zest for life and lived for her children.
In her spare time she was an active fundraiser for the Cradles to Crayons (C2C) program. The nonprofit that provides, free of charge, disadvantaged children with the essential items that all kids need in order to flourish.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Jeffrey Ouellette, her beautiful daughters Megan Olivia and Emma Bea Ouellette of Hingham, her dear brother Gregory Milewski of Abington, her cherished paternal grandmother Helen Milewski of Brockton, her mother-in-law Edith Ouellette of Hampton, NH, father-in-law Raymond Ouellette of Ham Lake, MN, and her step-mother Leslie Milewski of Duxbury. In addition she is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
The Funeral will be from the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. WEYMOUTH on Wednesday January 4th at 9 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 1057 Main St, Hingham at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Marshfield.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carolyn’s memory to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, c/o Development Office, 165 Cambridge St, Boston, MA 02115 or the Dana-Farber Cancer Research Institute, 44 Binney St, Boston, MA 02115.
