Jane E. Lamoly, 74, of Derry, NH died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home, Derry following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 20, 1937 in Boston, MA and was a resident of Derry for 11 years, formerly living in Methuen, MA. Ms. Lamoly was one of 15 children, six sons and nine daughters, born to the late Jacob and Abigail (Samuel) Anderson. She was employed as a crew member at Dunkin Donuts for many years. Jane loved to cook, as well as entertain family and friends. It was her goal in life to feed everyone and make sure no person or animal went hungry.
She is survived by her three children, Lisa A. Puglisi of Derry, Doreen Granger and Wayne Lamoly, both of California, six grandchildren including her grandson Guiseppe Puglisi with whom she shared a special bond, several siblings, as well as a special family friend, Kevin Smith who recently told Jane “Do not worry about Lisa and Guiseppe. They are in good hands.”
Calling hours were held on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 5 – 9pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services were held on Saturday December 31st at 9:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH.
